CLASS DESCRIPTION:
The two value stage of a drawing is an important part of successful rendering. Shadow mapping is an important first step to a strong two value drawing. And an in depth understanding of shape and edge are the foundation that shadow mapping is built on. This class is an in depth exploration of shape and edge, and the role that they play in shadow mapping and the creation of a strong two value head or figure drawing. 1 pose per demo.
Week 1:
Figure drawing (shadow mapped)
Week 2:
Head drawing (shadow mapped)
Week 3:
Figure drawing (shadow mapped + two value)
Week 4:
Head drawing (shadow mapped + two value)
Week 5:
Figure Drawing (shadow mapped + two value + rendering)
Class Info
Subscription Library Info:
Once a video has been selected, it will be unlocked for viewing and you will be able to watch it in the main Subscription Library and in your My Videos tab. You'll also be able to download the photo reference for the demo you have selected so you can practice. All selections are final for the Basic and Plus tiers, so be sure to choose carefully. Once a video has been selected, you can watch it as many times as you like until the month has ended. At that time, your selections will be cleared for the new month. You'll be able to find your viewing history in the History tab in case you'd like to revisit a previously watched demo. If you are an Unlimited subscriber, you can watch as many videos as you'd like each month. You can also save demos in the My Videos tab for quick reference or save full classes in the My Classes tab if you'd like to work through your demos sequentially as a class.
Changes to your subscription can be made any time in the tab:
