    When are new demos released?
A new demo video is released once per week for five weeks starting on May 29th, 2025.
Who can upload their work to be included in the weekly critique video?
Only Gold-level students can upload their work each week to be included in the weekly critique video. All students can watch the crit videos but Silver-level students work will not be included in the video.
What are the draw-over critiques like?
Draw-over critiques are not digital draw-overs, they are done with tracing paper by hand. Each draw-over critique will be anywhere from 25 to 45 minutes long. **This is not a "group critique" situation.** Each Gold-level student gets their own draw-over critique each week so long as work is uploaded by the weekly submission deadline. The individual critiques are then collected into one video so students can watch the other students crits as well as their own.
For how long can class content be accessed?
All class content will be accessible for at least two weeks after the end of the term. If there are any delay during the term then the cutoff date will be extended accordingly.

Improve your rendering skills in this 5-week course.
Have you ever felt like your rendering skills lack style or direction? Are there certain objects, textures, or lighting situations that leave you feeling stumped when it's time to render your drawing?

This is a problem every artist will struggle with from time to time. Fortunately, we do not need to reinvent the wheel when it comes to rendering. We can take a page out of the book of our favorite artists by reverse-engineering their techniques and adding their tricks and techniques to our own skillsets. Studying from the masters can teach us numerous new approaches to common problems and assist us in breaking out of our old habits by challenging us to attempt things in our art that we may have never considered trying on our own.

In this 5-week class, Brian will take you through the process of master study drawing. He will show you how to begin your drawing with a solid lay-in and then he will pick key parts of each piece to be studied and show you how to analyze and re-create the techniques you see in your own study.

The benefits of this class are two-fold: You will learn many rendering techniques by watching Brian break down master artworks. You will also learn how to reverse-engineer master works so that you can continue the practice of master studies independently in your own practice.

Master studies are an exercise that every artist can benefit from, so join Brian Knox for this essential new drawing course.
