CLASS DESCRIPTION:
The human figure is incredibly complex. This class will help students learn a methodical and logical approach to figure drawing that will act as a strong foundation that can be built upon for the rest of their lives. Each week will build upon the last starting with gesture, which is followed by structure and then, finally, light and shadow. Both the Reilly method and constructive approaches will be discussed and used. The final week will bring all this information together into a long, full value figure drawing.
Topics include gesture/Reilly method, structure, shape, value, and edge.
Class Info
Student Work Submission Deadline:
Each week Gold level students must upload their drawings within 5 days of the demo being released to be included in the critique video. For example, if a demo is released on 4/19 at 12am PT then the submission deadline is 4/23 at 11:59pm PT.
Refund Policy:
Foundation Art School will not refund a purchase of a Drawing Class after the first day the class starts. If you purchased a Foundation Art School Drawing Class and you would like a refund before the class starts, please contact:
